 Personal Summary

I have 13 years of experience in application development in large and small organizations. Most recently I have been working at an interactive ad agency building database-driven customer-facing websites, Facebook applications, and back-end content management systems.

My sites integrate social channels like Facebook, Twitter, etc. My sites are highly interactive with a heavy use of client-side Javascript mainly using jQuery and associated plug-ins. I am looking for an opportunity to further my skills in these emerging technologies to build engaging, well thought out, relevant and powerful user experiences. My recent interests are how to implement real-time updates to websites, how to implement best practices in client-side JavaScript coding and performance-related issues.

Built accounting system to track law student printouts.  Starting with a $50 balance, my system kept track of student printouts by importing information from a log text file.  The application calculated billing totals and output a text file containing student-to-be-billed information that was formatted to be imported into the bursar mainframe billing system.

Batch files were created and executed to interact with the print-server software.  I built an associated ASP website to display students' account summary.
